2MP/1080P 36x IMX291 Starvis Block Camera for IP PTZ Dome Camera

As the PTZ camera is able to provide 360 degree video surveillance coverage, they are the best cameras to monitor large open space areas. In addition to almost the endless mechanical pan/tilt rotation, each PTZ camera comes with a block camera that can not only deliver high quality video but also offering powerful optical zoom capability. For instance, the PTZ camera can support 10x, 18x, 20x, 30x, 36x even higher optical zoom. A 36x optical zoom dome camera therefore can see an object clearly which is a few kilometers away. If you just want to capture the object in a few hundred meters away, 18x and 20x optical zoom is quite adequate.

In this article, we introduce a new block camera product, it’s a 2-megapixel 36x low-llumination block camera, which is based on Hisilicon SoC, supports video shooting at max. 1920x1080@30fps resolution, making video surveillance become exceptional clear; by employing Sony 1/2.8” Exmor CMOS image sensor – featuring Starvis technology and 3D noise reduction, the day/night image is flawless. Ps Starvis CMOS sensors have been proven to provide 30% higher sensitivity than traditional Exmor CMOS.

Efficient zoom-focus sync algorithm can ensure the camera can always output clear and well focused image. Thanks to the Hisilicon SoC, the product features H.265 Main Profile encoding, under the same image quality condition, the bitrate is 50% lower than the H.264 compression, therefore can achieve low bitrate, high image quality video streaming and recording. It is back compatible with H.264 and MJPEG compression as well, good interoperability to support the current main stream H.264 equipment and software.
Intending to work with third-party equipment and software, it’s compliant with ONVIF 2.4 specification.
